Welcome Reception by the ECD Group

The Early Career Development Group is organizing a welcome reception to be held on the first evening of the EISA PEC conference. The reception is particularly meant to welcome early career scholars and new attendees at PEC, to provide an opportunity for them to get to know and engage with one another, as also to potentially meet members of the Governing Board.

Transportation is not arranged.

How to get there:

By Bus (20 min)

Take the bus lines 040 (Peiraias – Syntagma) or A2 (Akadimia – Voula) from the stop “Panteion” just opposite the University, disembarking at Syntagma Square and then walking 10min  downwards to reach the City Hall.

Or take any given bus passing through the stop “Panteion”, get off at Syngrou – Fix station, enter the subway and get off at Omonoia station, walking the last 250 meters to the city hall (Check here).

By Taxi (15 min)

Easily pick up one: crossing Syngrou Avenue, opposite Panteion.

Or use taxi app Uber or  Taxiplon, with an estimated cost of 7.31 euros.

By Walk (45 min)

We do not recomment the walking route, given the climate conditions (possible heat) in Athens at the beginning of September.
